- Check if the power ac adapter is connected properly and plugged in to a power outlet
- with a tester, check if the ac adapter has the right voltage. The AC adapter has a 12V DC output with 2 Ampere electrical current
- Power cycle the HoneyOptics camera, this should show some indication if it is functioning if it goes to self testing
- Check video cable if they properly connected
